I cannot say enough about the food, the service, and the friendliness of the staff! We recently had a District prayer breakfast here and the owner and staff went out of their way to make sure that the accommodations and buffet were top notch, not to mention the overall atmosphere!
Stopped for an early dinner on way home and found this little gem. Food was good service as well. Had the French Dip with Mac & cheese also the Cole slaw was delicious!
My daughter and I went in tonight for dinner and the owners went above and beyond making sure my little girl had the best night. The service was amazing like always, as was the good. Truly a wonderful place and must try!
Under new ownership. We wanted to give them a try since the new owners took over. See the pics I posted. The Reuben panini was good. The corned beef was good and tender. I like the Cole slaw also. It came with soup and crispy fries. The pizza burger came with a soup and crispy fries . I asked for extra sauce with the burger. I'm telling you .It was delicious. I was dipping my fries in it.LOL
Been here a few times. Service had always been good although the last time, I wasn't impressed by the host. My server Kaylin (I think) was really nice. She was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Food was good! Always a great bargain
So good!!! Even though they did not have crabs because of the craziness in the world, we enjoyed a family dinner. Everyone loved their meals and we were given a private room for our group which was thoughtful. We had the soft shell crab sandwich. It was great. Also we shared a fried seafood dish. So good!!!
After six or seven times here in the last two years and three or four other times within the last three years it's time to write a review. Delmar diner is just what it says, it is a diner. For Diners it's five star all the way because of its varied menu and it's daily specials. I've eaten here as a solo and been treated really well. But most of the time I've eaten either with my SO or with a bevy of family members. Today It was a family event with six hungry diners on a cold winter day. We had a great server who was training another server and neither of them missed a beat. Other times we've had other servers and it's always been great service. The six hungry eaters here today ordered exclusively off the specials menu and we ate roast turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes, a flounder sandwich that when I looked at it I could not believe how big the piece of flounder was. It was hanging off the roll. All of these entrées included soup and we all choose the Maryland crab soup which was a creamy, crabby delight. Two of us had a hamburger platter. The age group was 15 and 16, and 38 to 62. Everybody was extremely happy. I think the reason the food is so good here and the service so kind is because the owner is on site for a long time each day. That truly makes a difference. So the next time I'm headed to Salisbury or Ocean city Maryland there's no way I can avoid stopping here for a meal.
